We can never plan for everything, even though we may try. Several weeks ago I was in a car accident that altered my life. I am home after four days in the hospital, happy to be alive, and with upcoming surgeries scheduled will not be able to maintain this blog until I recover more fully. I am surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, and my community. I want to extend my appreciation to those who support my progress, with cards, thoughts, prayers, dinners for my family, and calls. I have been forever changed and humbled by the support of my community and of all of you.
